Proactive PR covers the ‘Traditional’ PR elements of storytelling, in that it usually requires a press release being issued to the media to explain and position your PR story.
This works perfectly if you have a new announcement to make, news to share, or something to celebrate.
If this is the case we’d work with you to:-
- Craft the strongest press release possible, looking for, or developing news hooks and creative angles
- Support you in getting this out to your target media using our press contacts, media lists and social media channels
- Offer a full press office service to liaise with the press on your behalf and follow up any press releases issued to them to help secure coverage
- Provide leads for future PR opportunities as the result of our media conversations
We may also recommend creative media gifts, media visits or press events as part of this activity.
Other elements of proactive PR include securing things like guest blogs and feature writing opportunities. This is where we pitch you as an expert in your field and produce some ready-made content for the press to make use of, having researched your media opportunities.
As part of proactive PR we can also work with you to create creative PR campaigns, to help generate PR stories, thus creating PR opportunities when you don’t have ‘news’ as such.
How much does this cost?
Local media activity can range from £350 – £500 + VAT, with national media relations activity ranging from £1500 – £3000 per month but we also quote bespoke to each project and depending on your story may be able to tap into national media for a reduced budget, so please just get in touch for a chat.
This work can also be combined with our reactive PR service. We will provide a bespoke quote based on your media targets and objectives.
