Seeing a client on the front page of a newspaper NEVER gets old! But when it’s Sarah Turner of LITTLE BEAU SHEEP there’s a special kind of pride!!
Sarah was my first female founder client after I moved away from corporate work and dedicated the business to helping female startups to fly ⚡️ We sat in my kitchen in Menston (Yorkshire) wrote her press release, then worked together month on month to get her brand recognized and celebrated in the press. This was a bite sized approach, taking small steps as I taught her how to do it all – first the press release and bio, then the media list, then the pitching.
Over the years Sarah has had soooo many highs including being featured in national media and being on TV several times including BBC’s CountryFile, winning a gazillion awards and being invited to Downing Street, growing her presence within the very male Company of Woolmen but my fave of all was when she was approached to collab with Aardman to create Shaun the Sheep dryer balls ✨
I was chatting to Sarah yesterday as she embarks on another FASCINATING project (so give her a follow!) and she said ‘When I sat down at your kitchen table I never thought I could get in the local paper – never mind on TV and all the rest of it! I had huge imposter syndrome. I was new. I struggled with the title of female entrepreneur as I was working from home and it all felt really small -and I thought PR was only for bigger businesses – but you showed me how I could use the media to help me grow and you helped me build my confidence so I could show up for my business from the very beginning! I can’t believe what we’ve achieved since then!!”
As Sarah’s grown her business she has ALWAYS celebrated it with PR – and that’s meant the air of celebration has never left her business and the buzz continues as her momentum builds. The media are always interested in what she’s doing next and so opportunities continue to come.
Sarah I absolutely adore watching your business boom. Keep doing what you’re doing! 🔥 xx

In July and August, alongside our agency clients (where we take PR off your hands) I am also focusing on supporting more startups or early phase business owners who’d like to learn how to tap into PR at the start. We have stripped back one of our bigger programmes and chopped it into 2, to stop overwhelm, and give you a specific area to start with, to get faster results.
We have 2 routes to this:-
(i) Tap into your story to tell the world who you are and why you do what you do – introduce your mission and message to launch your business in the press. This is a DIY PR Programme – with the option to top up to some 121 support. From £397 + VAT DIY. From £997 +VAT supported.
(ii) Tap into your expertise – position yourself as the expert in your space (this doesn’t depend on how long you have been in business, it’s focused on how much value you have to share). Share knowledge, tips and thought leadership to build up your profile as an expert, so you are recognised, credible, trusted and FOUND for your area of expertise. This is a ‘done with you’ PR coaching plan over 6 weeks with the option to top up for 121 support. From £997 + VAT – £1997 supported.

This is your chance to be featured in the press – from the onset of your business journey – or to build up your media profile, to help build your digital footprint and solidify your personal brand.
