The Brief

To work with the marketing team and MD, providing an extension of the team, offering regular continuous support on a day to day basis, assisting the business in raising the profile of their brand and managing their reputation. To support the message of brand heritage around Pitman Training whilst also promoting them as a growth business that is adapting for the future and innovating to serve their customers best interests.

The Strategy

The PR we undertake for Pitman cover a number of different elements:-

  • MD Profile opportunities illustrating the experience of Claire Lister and growth plans for the business
  • Business comment opportunities and input into cultural discussions around lifelong learning
  • Creation of creative campaigns to keep the business engaging with their markets and media in an interesting way
  • PR that illustrates Pitman as a heritage brand making an impact on their students’ futures
  • Franchise PR to help build the business through continued growth in this area

The Results

We have worked with Pitman for several years and carried out a number of creative campaigns as well as day to day activity, along with supporting them at trade events and running training session for their franchisees.

Key projects include working with Dame Kelly Holmes on content around ‘Being the best you can be’, supporting a national roadshow, Career MOT, which saw the brand interacting across the country with a new app and a camper van and running research campaigns that resulted in coverage in Forbes Magazine.

Year on year their PR value rises and their brand messages are further solidified.
