TOP RETAIL DESIGNER JOINS BEN HUCKERBY TEAM
New Design Assistant Injects Fashion Into Interiors

Leading Leeds interior designers, Ben Huckerby Design, is expanding this month, with the appointment of much-sought after designer Michael Booth. He brings with him experience from designer stores which he will be calling upon to inject into the contemporary interior schemes of properties across Yorkshire.

Studying Fashion Promotion and Fashion Design at Huddersfield College, Michael has since had an extensive career in retail fashion, starting as Supervisor at Russell and Bromley. He then worked at All Saints where he held several roles including Standing Supervisor, Head of Alterations in Store and Visual Merchandising Specialist.

Later working at LK Bennett as Supervisor and Head of Service, Michael climbed up the career ladder and was awarded for his customer service in the ‘Top of the Shop' awards, where he faced a panel of judges including Ben Huckerby, owner and Design Director at Ben Huckerby Design.

Ben Huckerby said: "Michael is a great asset to the team. I am confident that his background in fashion will enable him to input from a new perspective. We're looking forward to expanding further this year as we have ambitious growth plans for 2010 ."
