Leeds based leading weight-loss and weight-management programme, LighterLife , is hosting a strictly stylish event this month that is set to raise thousands for Yorkshire Cancer Research to celebrate the city's achievements.
The Strictly Stylish Fashion Show on Saturday 27th February at Aspire in Leeds will see the crème de la crème of the region's businesses in attendance to provide a perfect opportunity for networking. With sponsorship and attendance from Grand Central , Debenhams , Forward Ladies , Yorkshire Cancer Research and many others, the 300 guests are set to have a dazzling night.
Guest speakers will include Apprentice star Claire Young, Etta Cohen, founder of Forward Ladies, Sally Crerar, Head of Community Fundraising at Yorkshire Cancer Research, and Mark Hoban of hit TV series Last Man Standing as the compère. Promising to be a fun filled night of glitz and glamour with a strictly come dancing Latino dance display, hot food and the chance to salsa the night away, the 300 guests are guaranteed to have a fantastic night.
Melanie Ellyard, LighterLife Counsellor has ambitious targets for the event and is hoping to raise thousands of pounds for YCR with the proceeds going to research at the Universities of Bradford, Hull, Leeds, Sheffield, York and their associated teaching hospitals and the MRI centre at Hull Royal Infirmary.
Melanie said: “This event is an opportunity for my clients to celebrate their amazing success, whilst offering local businesses like ours the chance to network and help a fantastic charity. Cancer touches the lives of so many people, so we are very pleased to offer Yorkshire Cancer Research some support to their vital work.”
Local LighterLife clients from Leeds and Pudsey will be strutting their stuff in association with Debenhams Personal Shoppers to celebrate their achievements having lost almost 700 stone between them in the last year - the equivalent of 4.5 double decker buses!
