The Theory of Everything

We heard once upon a time that there was to be a Theory of Everything - it was supposed to be Einstein's last stand, but he failed....Good job our client Jon Wiltshire picked up where he left off..

"I have telekenetic powers on Monday afternoons, just after Trisha" claims Jon, amongst other things - clearly this was a man we had to work with!

Having starred on Blind Date & TFI Friday; curated an exhibition at London's Saatchi Gallery; played to over 10,000 people at Pacha and Manumission in Ibiza, and lectured to thousands of students in Yorkshire, a local artist showcasing his work next month in Harrogate has many avenues of inspiration to draw from, but it is Einstein that is his true inspiration.

Previewing on March 14th, at the RB Gallery in Harrogate, with pieces entitled 'An Excessive Amount of LSD Can Prove to be Fatal in Elephants' and 'I Have Telekinetic Powers on Monday Afternoons Just After Trisha' you might be mistaken for thinking artist Jon Wiltshire is indeed on his own planet.. But in actual fact these represent a deep passion to illustrate the irresponsibility of scientific research, and the desensitization of popular culture respectively.

Jon says of his painting titles: " I have telekinetic powers sounds like a title for a Trisha show; 'I can move things with my mind on a Monday afternoon'. I love this idea that even the most bizarre claim has become mundane, and could be accepted as quite ordinary. People and their behaviour fascinates me, and it's really about the de-sensitization of popular culture."
