Celloglas Pushing the Boundaries of Print with NoiseFive

Industry innovators and decorative print finishing specialists, Celloglas, are celebrating this month after seeing their vision in print, as NoiseFive launches to the world.

With all parties involved setting extremely high expectations for this design bible, passionate about making it stand out to showcase the power of design, creative finishing effects were even more key than ever to create the wow factor.

Pushing the boundaries of print by showing exactly what is possible in the printing world, Celloglas used techniques such as photocromatic technology (glow in the dark inks)and bring a level of intrigue to key pages within the book, as a selection of designs are light reactive, so the only way for the full picture to be revealed is when the effects of the finishing kick in.

Encouraging people to interact with the book the key focus was also on providing a leading example of how design can be enhanced and complimented by creative finishing techniques, to bring in extra dimensions.

Celloglas Director, Richard Pinkney, who project managed a large proportion of this job said:

"ATTIK turned to us because they have a huge number of creative ideas - a fantastic vision for how they saw this Noise book evolving - but when it came down to the finishing they were desperate to have the impossible - that's where we came in to make it happen! Ones for pushing boundaries, we live for these kind of challenges and worked with our in-house experts to work out how we could achieve the desired results, that in many cases had never been done before."
