Do you have Room in your life?

Wakefield Council ask this of the county as they launch campaign to recruit foster carers in the district.

Working alongside Raw Design on the advertising campaign, the Chocolate PR team has been working to secure Yorkshire PR coverage to help support the council's bid to house more foster children. As statistics released show a drop in the uptake of carers in Wakefield, the Room campaign asks if you have room in your life and room in your home to foster a child.

Working to highlight exactly what is involved in the fostering process and demonstrate the different routes, whether it be long term or short term care, the council are seeking those willing to help children make sense of their world.

With an interview on Radio Aire and coverage in the Wakefield Express and the Wakefield Guardian, we are well on the way with locally promoting the campaign with supporting PR and are looking forward to building on this within the coming weeks, across Yorkshire.
