Choc PR Client Mixes with the Stars!
It’s not everyday a designer from Leeds can say he will be mingling with the likes of Ms Dynamite, Ricky Martin and John Legend, but that’s exactly what local Digital Filth Designer Damian Collins was doing, as he launched his new collection to the stars at this year’s MOBO’s.
Leeds/London based independent fashion label, Digital Filth were invited to attend the MOBO's 10th Anniversary Awards and provided garments from their ‘I am Miami' and ‘New Yorkshire' collections, to the performers and presenters on the night after organisers had come across them, through national press coverage received.
Lead designer, Damian Collins said: "We were so excited to be asked to be involved with this event, as the organisers actually came to us! They'd seen our stuff, and liked the freshness of the brand, and wanted us to sit alongside some of the established designers".
"Chocolate PR have been working with Digital Filth since its launch, over a year ago, and since then we have generated a lot of excitement around our brand. PR has played a huge role in the development of Digital Filth, and will continue to do so in the future."
Digital Filth featured in the official MOBO Magazine photoshoot, with their garments being adorned by models also wearing PRADA, Neil Barrett and Jasper Conran and Damian was on hand to mingle with the celebs at the after show parties.
On the night a selection of Digital Filth garments were provided in goody bags, received by presenters and stars alike and Digital Filth will also had stock in the ‘goody tent' from which VIPs could pick and choose samples from all the brands involved, to create news looks for their personal collections of designer gear.
