PR Tips
Whichever approach to PR you decide to take here are a few questions worth asking before embarking on a campaign.
1. What is the purpose of the activity?
To raise profile; to launch a product; to make an announcement. What objectives are being set for the activity...what do you want the campaign to achieve?
2. What do you have to say?
Is it the case that you have news to tell; have products to showcase; or can you provide expert tips and advice? PR is a whole different world to advertising...
3. Do you have a good photo/s or a photography budget?
A good picture really does speak 1000 words, so good quality photography is key. Creative shots are also a great tool to get a story noticed. We would not be keen to take on a client who did not have a budget for producing a good press shot to accompany their story
4. What's your plan?
So you launch your product over a 3 month period...then what? With PR it's about regular communications, and it is advisable to plan a campaign rather than just react ad hoc, when trying to raise your profile to ensure your pr and marketing budget is used as effectively as possible.
These are just a few things to keep in mind.. We're all about helping you plan in the right way.
