With her International accent, and friendly demeanour, Kate is great at putting both clients and journalists at ease...then pumping them for information, in the nicest possible way! - a key skill in PR.
Uni Days
Originally from Canada, Kate moved to England a few years ago and did a degree in Sociology and Philosophy at Leeds Uni, before deciding PR was what she really wanted to do! She pursued a Masters degree in PR in Leeds, with a focus on fashion and celebrity PR to put her in the picture of the fast paced world we work in.
First Job
Kate's first jobs varied between fashion retail and bar and restaurant work, but with her outgoing personality and interest in fashion, she figured 'why not combine the two?' and looked to pursue a career in fashion PR, be it in Leeds or London.
Other Experiences out There
A fashion pr graduate, Kate moved down to London and did an internship at large London based PR agency Halpern, where she worked on the beauty team overlooking big name clients such as Molton Brown and Avon, and worked alongside the fashion team looking after clients such as Miss Sixty, Dior Watches, Roberto Cavalli sunglasses, Milly and Lalique to name a few. She also did a short placement at Luchford APM, looking after luxury brands such as Pringle, before deciding her heart lay in the North, and moving back up to Leeds.

Kate is an account handler at Chocolate PR, focusing on our fashion and consumer clients, although also bringing her creative approach to our b2b clients aswell. Her passion for fashion and finger on the pulse means she is already on the wavelength of clients, and can easily get under the skin of their brands.
Hard working, meticulous and energetic Kate offers a fresh approach to her accounts and is dedicated to ensuring all finer details are taken care of to ensure the smooth running of projects, whatever their nature.
She has great contacts with fashion stylists, photographers, and celebrity bookers, and will also be involved in our London office later this year.
