The Leeds based Senior Account Executive/Account Manager position holds responsibility for client media relations campaign management, new business generation and social media activity…plus much much more!

An exciting role with huge scope for development, you’d be working with a close-knit team, for a brand with real values.

We need you to have PR experience at SAE level across B2B and B2C clients and be capable of managing both your own workload and that of others, efficiently and productively.

Salary dependent on experience.

OBJECTIVES:

To provide high quality customer service to clients, developing strong relationships and always an energetic approach to campaigns.

To support the company in its growth, contributing to raising its profile, through networking events, and growing its customer base through sales generation and new business opportunities.

To manage your own portfolio of clients and their media relations campaigns. To also assist Account Executives with management of media relations campaigns and client development.

To work to invoicing targets each month.

To portray Chocolate PR values at every opportunity.

KEY TASKS:

1. Media Relations - Client Campaigns

Working across both B2B, B2C and public sector clients to create and manage media relations campaigns to a standard that delights clients and proves strong return on investment.

Activity will include:

  • Creating documents required for the campaign - be it a background media document, press release, or other format.

  • Be the point of contact for journalists in relation to your clients - develop these relationships

  • Co-ordinating client liaison - fact find regularly re client activity

  • Reporting factual and accurate information to Director on progress of campaigns on a weekly basis, working to agreed targets

  • Ensure invoice targets and allocated hours are adhered to, for all client campaigns.

  • Taking ownership on campaign planning in terms of planning ahead/campaign development

  • Undertaking regular media research and maintain full and accurate media lists for clients in your portfolio

2. Copywriting

Including:

  • Creating content for marketing literature - i.e brochures

  • Online content creation - web content development plans, online copywriting, online pr, twitter, writing for blogs, and writing with SEO in mind.

3. Client Liaison

Including:

  • Attending meetings with clients, and dealing with clients over the phone as their main point of contact

  • Ownership of client accounts, managing the projects on a month-by-month basis.

  • Development of client accounts

4. New Business Development

Including:

  • Confidence in making calls to introduce Chocolate PR to new contacts. A commission will be paid on all new clients signed up, as long as other invoicing targets have been met.

  • Be a good, regular networker, competent in portraying Chocolate PR in a positive manner at networking events and gaining new business as a result

  • Development of new business proposals and idea generation

5. Social Media

Including:

  • Use of LinkedIn and twitter to promote Chocolate PR and client activities

  • Chocolate PR Blog development and maintenance

  • Achieve completion of client campaigns within hours limits, to deadlines

  • Achieve agreed targets for monthly invoicing

  • Accuracy of information

  • Efficient and profitable project handling

  • Quality of customer service
